Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review papers, and theoretical contributions to Sociology and Social Work Review (SSWR).

All submissions must be written in English and must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers.

Authors must ensure that:
• The manuscript is anonymized for peer review
• All metadata (title, abstract, keywords, authors) is correctly entered
• The manuscript follows the journal’s Author Guidelines

SSWR does not charge any submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), or publication fees.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Please confirm that your submission meets all of the following requirements before proceeding.
Authors must confirm that:
• The submission complies with the Author Guidelines.
• The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
• The manuscript file is anonymized for double-blind peer review.
• All references are complete and correctly formatted (APA style, 7th edition).
• All tables and figures are properly labeled and embedded in the text.
• Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material.
• Author contributions, funding information, and conflict of interest statements are included.
• All authors have approved the submission.
• ORCID iDs are provided for all authors.

Articles

This section includes original research articles, review papers, and theoretical contributions in the fields of sociology and social work.

Authors retain copyright of their work and grant Sociology and Social Work Review (SSWR) the right to publish, distribute, and archive the article.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are properly credited.

The final published version of the article will be made freely and permanently available online.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

• The manuscript has not been published previously.
• The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
• All co-authors have approved the submission.
• The content complies with ethical and academic standards.
